On April 4, 2023, Jonathan T. Hartmann will take the helm as President and Chief Executive Officer, while Ryan Hartman (no relation) steps in as Chief Operating Officer. Dr. Heather Underwood, PhD., the current CEO, will remain through April to ensure a smooth transition. This dynamic duo will be tasked with leading the company to new heights of success.
Mr. Jonathan T. Hartmann is a 25-year veteran of the medical device industry, with a proven track record of success in driving new health technology markets. From product launches in laparoscopy with U.S. Surgical to leading market development for smaller companies, he has the experience and foresight to raise capital, produce and sell companies, and effectively manage sales, marketing, strategy, and business development.
Mr. Hartmann is a highly experienced leader in the medical and industrial technology sectors, having held various positions of increasing responsibility from CEO to VP at Axsun Technologies, a leading developer and supplier of MEMS-based optical engines for medical imaging and industrial spectroscopy.
Additionally, he was CEO of Sofregen Medical, a company that commercialized a platform for purified silk protein to facilitate soft tissue regeneration, and now serves on its Board of Directors. Furthermore, he is also a member on the Board of Directors at Nirrin Technologies. Mr. Hartmann holds a B.S. from St. Lawrence University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. With his expansive knowledge and expertise, Mr. Hartmann is a valuable asset to EvoEndo.

Ryan Hartman is a seasoned executive with a stellar 23-year career in international leadership roles. Prior to joining EvoEndo, he served as the Chief Commercial Officer of Trice Medical, a venture capital-backed medical device company, for two years.
During his two decades with Boston Scientific, he held multiple senior positions in the endoscopy division, including VP of Marketing. Ryan holds a degree from SUNY New Paltz and a M.S. in Hospital Administration from The New School in New York City.
He is highly regarded for his strategic acumen, product development skills, and dedication to patient care. As COO, he will be responsible for scaling the company’s operations and growth, in addition to overseeing sales, marketing, and commercial development.
