Kalos Medical is thrilled to have been selected for this grant, a testament to the company’s dedication to pushing the boundaries of medical device innovation. CEO Peter Chang is eager to join forces with MNTek, KETI, and SNU Bundang Hospital, with the goal of fostering the global success of Korean renal denervation medical devices.
About Kalos Medical
Kalos Medical, a leader in the development of minimally invasive medical devices, has just unveiled DENEXTM – a revolutionary device for the treatment of hypertension. Utilizing its own proprietary catheter-based technology, the device consists of three electrodes that are inserted into the renal artery via catheter, which then deliver radio frequency energy to the arterial wall, thereby deactivating the renal nerves and reducing hypertension. Clinical trials are currently being conducted in both Korea and Europe, bringing hope to those suffering from hypertension.
About the Grant
The South Korean government is taking action to strengthen the nation’s industrial technology ecosystem and propel its global competitiveness.
