Skanska, a construction company, has secured an additional contract from RWJBarnabas Health to build an ambulatory care cancer center in Livingston, New Jersey, USA.
The contract is valued at USD 85 million (approximately SEK 900 million) and will be included in Skanska’s US order bookings for the third quarter of 2023.
The project involves the construction of a five-story building on the Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center campus, covering an area of 13,000 square meters. The facility will be dedicated to providing outpatient cancer treatment. Additionally, a parking garage will be constructed as part of the project.
Construction work commenced in September 2022, with completion scheduled for the end of 2025. This project contributes to Skanska’s continued presence and involvement in healthcare facility construction in the United States.
