Wavely Diagnostics, Inc., a pioneering digital diagnostics company, just secured $1.35MM in new funding to boost its groundbreaking platform for data-driven virtual pediatric care. Serving households nationwide, Wavely’s platform arms parents with the tools to accurately diagnose ear infections in children.
Guided by a team of investors and grants totaling $6.35MM, Wavely looks to revolutionize pediatric healthcare with its upcoming app launch. Led by Robin Hood Ventures, the funding round was backed by WRF Capital, Ambit Health Ventures, the WXR Fund, Wealthing, HealthTech Capital, and Princeton Alumni Angels.
Wavely Diagnostics is gearing up for a momentous breakthrough as commercialization is within reach. Interest in our technology to expand virtual care for pediatrics is sky-high amongst providers and payers across the U.S., and this new funding gives us the impetus to bring Wavely’s revolutionary digital health solutions to providers and parents with greater speed and efficiency. Our team is thrilled to propel our innovative technology to the next level!
Wavely’s revolutionary mobile diagnostics app is revolutionizing the way parents and medical providers care for their children. This revolutionary app enables users to quickly and easily detect fluid in a child’s ear – the leading indication of ear infections – all through their smartphone!
Not only is the process non-invasive and painless, it also saves parents and providers the hassle of taking a trip to the urgent care or the emergency room for a diagnosis. Following a successful Phase I pilot, Wavely’s mobile platform is now being used in a Phase II pilot with a leading U.S. health system – transforming the way we approach healthcare.
Robin Hood Ventures is proud to invest in Wavely Diagnostics, a pioneering digital health company that is revolutionizing the field of pediatric diagnostics with accessible and simple-to-use tools.
Addtionally, Sasha Schrode, a member of Robin Hood Ventures with nearly two decades’ leadership experience, has joined Wavely’s Board of Directors, lending her invaluable medical device and healthcare expertise to bolster Wavely’s mission to bring effective, accessible, and simple-to-use pediatric diagnostic tools to every home in the US.
In November of last year, we were awarded a $1.8 million Phase II Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant from the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities, aiming to leverage remote diagnostics to increase access to care in rural communities and reduce health disparities. Therefore, we are delighted to announce additional funding that will support this initiative and help improve rural health outcomes.
